Al-Julani’s Jihadi Regime is Carrying Out a Foolish Plan

Even before the massacres on the Syrian coast, Al-Julani has been implementing a “divide and conquer” strategy. He is attempting to sow discord between minorities and the sect in a naïve effort to win over other minorities by portraying himself as their protector against the Alawites.

After all these massacres, does Al-Julani and co. , in their right minds, truly believe that a single , , , or would trust them?

If a legitimate regime had committed such atrocities, it would have lost its legitimacy both politically and legally. So what does that say about a jihadi regime that forcibly imposed itself on a multi-ethnic and multi-sectarian state?
