The pharmacist Ali Nidal Douba was Killed at the hands of the terrorist organization Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham simply because he belonged to the sect.

‎Ali Douba had been married for only six months. His family posted the following message from his Facebook account:

‎“I am the martyr Ali Nidal Douba.

‎Today, I was treacherously killed by those who claim to be security forces.

‎They searched our home dozens of times, took our cars and belongings, then came again and demanded that we go with them for ‘reconciliation,’ even though we are civilians.

‎I was taken along with my brother-in-law, the martyr Ali Mohammed Haifa.

‎Despite our protests, they insisted on taking us to an unknown fate.

‎They dragged us to a fenced farm along with young men and even children from our village, boys as young as 10 and 12 years old, before shooting us in the back.

‎To this moment, my family, my wife, and my in-laws have been unable to retrieve our bodies because every young man in the village has been killed.

‎They killed me before I could meet my daughter, whom I longed to see and feel move in my wife’s womb.

‎They killed me when I was just a pharmacist, dreaming of traveling to build a better life, thinking only of my family, my wife, and my daughter.

‎My greatest dream was to bring happiness to those around me and to help those in need when I could.

‎I ask you to share my true story and the stories of all the martyrs around me.

‎I am the martyr Ali Nidal Douba.”
