Khudr Al-Mahmoud was killed after being kidnapped from his home on March 4, 2025, by HTS militants. His body was found at Al-Waleed Hospital in Homs, having been executed with a gunshot to the head.

‏Khudr Al-Mahmoud worked as a physical education teacher at Al-Hassan Ibn Al-Haytham High School in the Al-Waer neighborhood, where he also resided. He belonged to the ⁦ ⁩ sect.

‏We do not understand the nature of these people or the religion they claim to follow, one that justifies executing innocent individuals solely based on their religious affiliation.
