🇸🇾 She Gave Birth Without Her Husband Ever Seeing His Child – Then Watched His Execution on Facebook

“By God, it was unjust. I swear to God, it was injustice.”

A grieving woman recounts the killing of her husband by militants from the jihadist Jolani regime. She was eight months pregnant at the time. While recovering in the hospital after a C-section, she came across a video posted on Facebook showing her husband’s execution, filmed and shared by the perpetrators, who are protected by the Jolani-led regime.

Her husband, Haider Bassam Asa'd, 28, and his brother, were executed on March 7. (Asa'ad and Assad are totally different families but in English the nickname could sound similar)

He used to collect firewood to feed their family. Now, with no breadwinner, the woman is left struggling to provide even the basics for her children , a two-year-old and a one-month-old infant.
