‏أبلغت ⁧ ⁩ البعثة ⁧ ⁩ في نيويورك مذكّرة تمّ تسليمها من خلال الأمم المتحدة تنصّ على تغيير وضعها القانوني من بعثة دائمة لدولة عضو لدى الأمم المتحدة إلى بعثة لحكومة غير معترف بها من قبل الولايات المتحدة.

🚨🇺🇸🇸🇾The Al-Nahar newspaper is claiming that has informed ’s mission in New York, via a memorandum delivered through the United Nations, that the U.S. is changing its legal status from a “permanent mission of a member state to the United Nations,” to a “mission of a government that is not recognized by the United States.”

The memorandum also included the cancellation of visas g anted to members of the mission, from the G1 category, which is reserved for diplomats accredited to the United Nations and whose governments are recognized in the host country, to the G3 category, which is granted to foreign nationals eligible for a visa from the United Nations, but whose governments are not recognized by the United States, according to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Nahar.
