Damascus: Father and Son Abducted in Al-Qadam Amid Rising Tensions

Damascus, March 7 – Local sources reported that armed militants affiliated with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham abducted 65-year-old Tamim Ali Rustam and his 25-year-old son, Ali Rustam, in the Al-Qadam neighborhood of . Their fate remains unknown.

According to testimonies from residents, 20 other individuals from the sect were kidnapped under similar circumstances, raising concerns about sectarian tensions in the area.

A female relative of the abductees has called on the relevant authorities to reveal their fate and take the necessary measures to ensure their safety.
