An woman from the village of Sanoubar in the countryside has given a harrowing testimony about the execution of her 52-year-old brother at the hands of Jolani’s jihadist forces. She described in detail how the militants demanded the keys to their car and an agricultural equipment storage unit, and after her brother complied and handed them over, they executed him on the spot in front of the vehicle, then drove over his body.

She also revealed that the militants prevented the family from burying the bodies for more than three days, further deepening their suffering.

This testimony is one of many emerging from the massacres and systemic persecution of Alawites in the region, raising serious concerns about the ongoing atrocities committed under Jolani’s rule.
