‏HTS militant shares abuses against Shiites

‏قام جهادي يدعى أبو العباس الديري بنشر مقطع بتاريخ 24/01 حول انتهاكات بحق مواطنين شيعة في ريف ⁧ ⁩.

‏يسمع في الفديو تكرير لعبارات "شيعي أنت شيعي" وكأن الانتماء إلى طائفة دينية أصبح تهمة لدى عناصر نظام ⁧ ⁩ الجهادي، كما يسمع تكرير لعبارات حول "عائشة" فهم مازالوا يريدون الانتقام لأحداث حصلت منذ أكثر من 1400 عام.

‏هذا مثال واضح عن المأزق الذي تعيش فيه الأقليات في سورية لوقوع السلطة بيد أشخاص طائفيين جهلى، وهو مايدفع العديد من الأقليات في سوريا بالمطالبة بالفدرلة أو التقسيم.

‏A jihadist named Abu al-Abbas al-Dairi shared a video on January 24 showing abuses against Shiite civilians in the countryside of ⁦ ⁩.

‏In the footage, you can hear militants repeatedly asking, “Are you Shiite?”, as if belonging to a religious sect is a crime in the eyes of ⁦ ⁩’s jihadis. They also chant phrases like “Aisha Um al-Moaaminnen”refering to the prophet wife seemingly trying to exact revenge for events that happened over 1,400 years ago.

‏This is yet another example of the harsh reality minorities face in Syria, where power is in the hands of sectarian extremists. It’s no surprise that many minorities in the country are now calling for federalism or even partition.
